What's the J-HOOK used for?

Sometimes you can push a tile too far into the adhesive so that it's not flush, but below the level of the previous tile. So, how do you pull it back out? Well, you could use your trowell or a screwdriver maybe, but you would risk damaging or at least disrupting the level of adjacent tiles. The J-HOOK, however, is designed to fit down the grout line between the tiles and then twist under the tile needing adjustment so that adjacent tiles aren't disturbed. Then you just need to pull gently to lift the tile back into position. You should note, however, that the J-HOOK should only be used to make small adjusments, maybe up to 2mm - if more adjustment than this is required, then the tile should be removed and relaid.
